Thank you for choosing us for your 2023 CPD Cycle Scheme.

The anticipated changes for the 2023 CPD Cycle, as per the Law Society of Ireland are as follows:

  • Solicitors must complete 20 hours of CPD;
  • Up to 80% (twenty hours) may be undertaken online;
  • At least 20% (five hours) must be undertaken in-person;
  • At least 3 hours shall be in the category of Client Care and Professional Standards;
  • At least 5 hours shall be in the category of Professional Development and Solicitor Wellbeing;
  • Senior practitioners must complete a minimum of eight hours, being the eight designated minimum hours in the categories of Client Care and Professional Standards / Professional Development and Solicitor Wellbeing.

Please note that for 2023, a minimum of 5 hours must be completed face-to-face / in-person within the year rather than fully online. We will publish the date of our in-person Annual CPD conference for 2023 shortly (5 General CPD hours / Dublin City venue).

There is a maximum limit of 7 hours CPD which can be completed in 1 day.

CPD points vary between seminars, full details of the hours awarded are included in the course description on the booking page on our website.

You will have access to your webinars for 1 year unless it is a topic whereby the information provided in the webinar is no longer correct or relevant, in that case the webinar will be removed from your profile.

We use Zoom to display our online seminars.

Yes, all of our online seminars are recorded and once edited all booked delegates who have paid their fee are given access to this recording.

The recording is made available within a week of the date of the live seminar.

Certificates for our live seminars are emailed to all attendees who have paid their fee within a week of the seminar. If you have purchased an online webinar, you download your own certificate from the learning platform once you have viewed the webinar.

3-4 days before the seminar commences you will be emailed full details of the seminar which will include a link to our event page which will contain your Zoom registration link. This link is also provided in the booking confirmation you receive when you first book.

Before the live seminar, course notes will be available to view on the same event page which contains your Zoom registration link. After the seminar the course notes will be available on our learning platform where you will also find the recording of the seminar. Login details for this learning platform will be made available to everyone once the recording is ready to view.
