This intensive one-day training programme will examine the law in relation to Consent and Capacity, reviewing the HSE National Consent Policy 2022 and ensuring delegates understand the Assisted Decision-Making (Capacity) Act 2015 and what it will mean to them in practice.
A central theme of the training includes an in-depth discussion of the legal and ethical dilemmas presented by the issue of capacity and its assessment.
